Job summary

The County of Ventura Housing and Homelessness Solutions Division seeks a Management Analyst I/II to manage a diverse grant portfolio funded by HUD, the State of California, and other sources. You will interpret regulations, monitor programs, and collaborate with county departments, cities, nonprofits, and state and federal agencies to translate funding into outcomes.

Strong written and verbal communication and organization are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Public Administration, or related field.
• Experience working with grants and/or managing funds from federal, state, or local sources.
• Ability to interpret and apply grant regulations and reports.

Responsibilities

• Interpret and apply federal, state, and local grant regulations, policies, and procedures.
• Monitor grant-funded programs and provide technical assistance to grantees.
• Collaborate with County departments, cities, nonprofits, and state/federal agencies to implement housing programs.
• Help develop proposals, policies, procedures, and contracts in response to new funding opportunities.
• Review compliance inquiries and recommend actions; conduct environmental reviews and prepare reports.
• Provide fiscal analysis, budget preparation, and grant and contract administration.
• Prepare and present written and oral reports to staff, partners, and leadership.
• Lead special projects and programs as assigned.
• Perform other related duties as required.
