Job summary

North Side Housing and Support Services seeks a Grants and Development Manager to lead private grant funding and support individual giving and events. You will write proposals, manage donor communications, and collaborate on sponsorships while aligning with program staff and organizational budgets.

The role requires strong writing skills, experience with Neon CRM or similar databases, and a keen interest in housing and homelessness services.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Non-profit Management, Human Services, or related discipline and at least 2 years of grant writing.
• Superior writing and interpersonal skills.
• Experience with grant writing for private foundations, corporations, and congregations.
• Familiarity with government grant procurement processes a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage agency development efforts to secure private grant funding and support organizational budgets.
• Write and edit grant proposals, reports, and donor correspondence.
• Collaborate with Marketing and Development Manager on sponsorships, events, and donor engagement.
• Manage donor databases and provide quarterly donor reports and financial reconciliations.
• Oversee private/corporate grant portfolios and reporting to funders.
• Ensure fidelity and stewardship of grants through program evaluation.
• Research new donors and foundations to expand funding.
