Job summary

Snow College seeks a facilities supervisor for campus housing, overseeing custodial staff and daily operations to keep housing facilities clean and safe. You will coordinate maintenance tasks, manage inventory, enforce safety, and support residents with maintenance requests.

The role requires leadership, reliable communication, and the ability to perform physical tasks including lifting and climbing. Summer shifts and Saturdays are expected.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or any combination of education and/or experience in construction or custodial work totaling 4-years.
• Knowledge of State, County and ADA codes.
• Knowledge of Snow College policies.
• Ability to work shifts and Saturdays in the Summer.

Responsibilities

• Supervise Custodial Staff: oversee daily activities, assign tasks, train staff, ensure work quality.
• Facility Maintenance: perform general maintenance like plumbing, electrical, painting, carpentry.
• Cleaning Operations: ensure sanitation across housing areas, bathrooms, and living spaces.
• Inventory Management: keep cleaning supplies and maintenance materials stocked.
• Safety Compliance: enforce protocols and conduct inspections to address hazards.
• Resident Support: respond to maintenance requests and concerns.
• Team Leadership: motivate staff and foster a collaborative environment.
• Performs routine manual labor in housing suites and on-campus halls.
• Supervise student workers and summer cleaning crew.
