Harbor-House-of-Central-Florid is seeking a Domestic Violence Advocate - Housing Coordinator to implement the Emergency Shelter Supportive Housing and Economic Justice Program, tracking survivors served and services provided. You will provide direct services to survivors seeking economic sustainability and supportive housing.

Responsibilities include assisting with housing placement, delivering financial literacy and advocacy, maintaining confidential records, and coordinating with housing

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s Degree or a high school/equivalency diploma and four years of experience within the battered women's movement.
• Minimum of one year experience with case management, preferably in a domestic violence program or additional education or relevant experience.
• 1-3 years of financial, credit, and/or employment counseling experience preferred.
• Professional experience may be substituted for formal education at the discretion of the Chief Executive Officer.
• Valid Florida driver’s license and insurable driving record.

Aufgaben

• Assist survivors of domestic violence in identifying and securing affordable housing.
• Conduct follow-up meetings with survivors to assess progress and identify further assistance needs.
• Responsible for providing and maintaining accurate client and service records and ensuring compliance with funding sources.
• Occasionally provides coverage for the shelter and its residents including safety procedures.
