Job summary

Housing Authority of Baltimore City (HABC) seeks a seasoned program professional to lead the Housing Choice Voucher Program (HCVP). You will supervise staff, ensure policy and HUD compliance, and coordinate with landlords and applicants to maintain program integrity.

Responsibilities include training, customer service excellence, and performance oversight, with opportunities to act as Manager in their absence. This role emphasizes accuracy, stakeholder collaboration, and process improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, social service, or related field and 3+ years of experience in HUD/HCVP.
• Experience reviewing for accuracy and quality in HCVP or HUD programs.
• Ability to train and guide staff on program requirements and portals.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to applicants, participants, landlords, and agencies.
• Train and guide staff on HUD regulations, HABC plans, and program procedures.
• Monitor and ensure accuracy, compliance, and performance in HCVP operations.
• Prepare weekly program activity reports and assist manager as acting supervisor when needed.
• Mediate landlord/tenant issues and coordinate with stakeholders.
