Job summary

Lutheran Social Service of Minnesota is a dynamic social service organization serving children, youth and families, people with disabilities, older adults, and military veterans. This role leads the Housing program within the Housing and Family Services Department, coordinating services for families experiencing homelessness across the 7-county Metro Area.

The Program Manager for Housing will supervise staff, develop programs, monitor budgets, and provide case management to help families obtain

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in human services or equivalent plus 4 years' experience in a human services field required.
• Valid driver's license and current insurance.
• Knowledge of crisis intervention; chemical dependency treatment, physical or sexual abuse, family violence required.
• Knowledge and experience about motivational interviewing, harm reduction, housing first model and trauma informed care.
• Previous experience working with low-income families and homelessness.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operation and coordination of supportive housing programs for families experiencing homelessness.
• Develop programs and supervise staff and programs in Housing Department.
• Monitor revenue and expense reports and contribute to annual budgets.
• Provide case management to families to address barriers to homelessness and promote community living.
