Job summary

Central City Concern is seeking a Housing Case Manager (QMHA) for the Community Engagement Program in Portland, OR. The role collaborates with a multi-disciplinary team to help chronically homeless clients access shelters, transitional housing, and permanent housing resources.

Schedule: Mon–Fri, 8:30am–5:00pm. Compensation: QMHA-I $27.62–$36.65/hour; external candidates up to $32.05/hr per union contract. Union representation via AFSCME.

Qualifications

• Must have MHACBO QMHA-I registration.
• Bachelor’s degree in behavioral sciences or 3 years related experience.
• Valid driver’s license and acceptable driver status.
• Current CPR certification.
• CADC-R or MHACBO certification preferred.
• Bi-lingual in Spanish preferred.
• Pass pre-employment drug screen, TB test, and background check.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional level of customer service to all clients.
• Assist clients in accessing affordable housing inside and outside CCC system.
• Develop working relationships with landlords, resident services and building staff.
• Track documents in Excel and ServicePoint.
• Attend mandatory CCC trainings and staff meetings.
• Advocate for clients in landlord-tenant or court settings.
• Ensure privacy compliance with HIPAA and 42 CFR Part 2.
