Job summary

The University of South Carolina is seeking a Housing Capital Strategist to steer construction, capital and operational initiatives, protecting university investments and turning priorities into measurable results.

You will coordinate projects with university and city partners, contractors and vendors, guiding investment decisions and communicating clearly.

The role does not supervise staff but requires strategic thinking, data analysis and strong project management to enhance student housing.

Qualifications

• Master's degree required or equivalent.
• 5+ years of demonstrated project management experience.
• Experience with dashboards, reports, or workflow tracking.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate construction and capital projects; track scope, schedules, risks and dependencies.
• Analyze workflows and data to identify gaps and guide improvements.
• Manage centralized intake, prioritization and tracking for initiatives.
• Anticipate impacts on residents and campus partners; plan to minimize disruption.
• Facilitate meetings with partners and ensure follow-through.
• Prepare executive summaries and dashboards for leadership.
