Job summary

University of South Carolina Upstate is seeking a Project Manager to oversee capital construction and renovation projects on campus. You will work closely with campus stakeholders, the Office of State Engineer, and Columbia design teams to ensure scope, budget, and schedule are met.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree and 2+ years in project management; a background in architecture or engineering with 5 years PM experience is preferred. A valid driver’s license is required.

Qualifications

• Requires a bachelor's degree in a job related field and 2+ years of relevant experience.
• Preferred: Bachelor's in Architecture or Engineering with 5+ years of PM experience and design/construction oversight.

Responsibilities

• Oversee design and execution of capital construction and renovation projects.
• Coordinate with campus clients, Office of State Engineer, and design teams to meet scope, budget, and schedule.
• Lead procurement of A/E services, manage change orders, and report project status to stakeholders.
• Ensure adherence to university and industry standards and supervise engineering/architectural teams and vendors.
