University of South Carolina Housing is seeking a Housing Capital Strategist to oversee construction, capital, and operational initiatives affecting student housing. This role collaborates with university and city partners to guide investments and measurable outcomes, shaping the future of on-campus living.

The ideal candidate coordinates complex projects, develops dashboards, and communicates findings to executive leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required with 2+ years related experience.
• PMP certification or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate construction and capital projects, track scope, schedules, risks and dependencies.
• Analyze workflows and performance data to identify gaps and guide implementation.
• Manage centralized intake, prioritization and tracking for operational initiatives.
• Anticipate project impacts on residents, staff and campus partners, coordinating plans to minimize disruption.
• Prepare executive summaries and dashboards for AVP within authorized scope.
• Lead or coordinate efforts to ensure timely follow-through with stakeholders.
