The Salvation Army Northern Division Duluth Corps, located in Duluth, MN, seeks a Plover Place Housing Advocate to support adult residents with living skills, crisis response, and administrative tasks at the 24-unit Plover Place.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must have at least one year of experience with the target population served.
• Must pass background checks, including through The Salvation Army and MN Department of Human Services.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, person-centered support to adult participants, including assistance with living skills, navigating housing policies, responding to crises, and promoting a safe, respectful environment.
• Manage building access and greet visitors by directing them appropriately.
• Document participant interactions, incidents, and visitor logs.
• Respond to incoming calls and provide information or support as needed.
• Assist with seasonal and special projects and events.
