Bowery Residents Committee (BRC) in Manhattan seeks a dedicated housing case manager to oversee an assigned caseload, meet clients regularly, and ensure all files and reports are up-to-date. You will secure entitlements, coordinate housing interviews, and assist with moves in collaboration with landlords and internal and external agencies.

You will liaise with DHS and other providers to facilitate housing processes, offer retention services post-placement, and participate in interdisciplinary

Qualifications

• Requires High School Diploma or GED; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Significant experience with homelessness and securing entitlements/housing.
• Strong writing, communication and group facilitation skills.
• Bilingual abilities a plus; CPR training or willingness to obtain.

Responsabilités

• Meet with clients regularly to manage housing needs and maintain housing-related reports.
• Coordinate entitlements and navigate housing interviews and vacancies with landlords and agencies.
