Job summary

Goodwill Legacy Group seeks a part-time CES Assessment Specialist to enroll neighbors into the Coordinated Entry System and conduct standardized assessments for housing interventions, rental assistance, and supportive services.

Based at 1033 E Washington St, Indianapolis, IN 46202, the role requires availability M-F 7:00–15:30 and up to 24 hours per week. This grant-funded, at-will position supports crisis response and housing navigation with community partners.

Qualifications

• Degree and Credential Requirements - NONE
• Industry Experience - Experience with homelessness, poverty, or housing instability preferred
• Building Collaborative Relationships - Develops partnerships with internal and external teams
• Technical Knowledge - Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Google, and electronic case management systems
• Organizational Aptitude - Manage multiple priorities and timelines
• Communication Skills - Clear, compassionate communication across teams

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive CES assessments to determine eligibility and housing prioritization
• Enroll neighbors into the Coordinated Entry System with clear timelines and steps
• Provide timely interventions, referrals, and crisis support as needed
• Coordinate with partners, case managers, and community orgs to verify documentation
• Maintain patient/client records compliant with CES standards and agency policies
• Participate in weekly Case Conferencing and training to obtain CES certification
