Job summary

Goodwill Legacy Group is seeking a part-time CES Assessment Specialist to support the Coordinated Entry System in Indianapolis. The role involves conducting standardized CES assessments, enrolling neighbors, and coordinating with partners to ensure timely access to housing resources.

This position emphasizes crisis response, documentation accuracy, and compliance with CES guidelines. There is grant-based funding and at-will status.

Qualifications

• Experience working with individuals or families experiencing homelessness, poverty, or housing instability preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication with clients and partners.
• Willingness to learn agency databases and tools.

Responsibilities

• Conduct CES assessments to determine eligibility and housing prioritization for neighbors.
• Enroll neighbors into the Coordinated Entry System and explain processes, timelines and next steps.
• Identify immediate needs and provide timely interventions, referrals and crisis support.
• Coordinate with partners and case managers to obtain, verify and manage CES documentation.
• Maintain accurate client records and ensure compliance with CES guidelines.
• Attend weekly Case Conferencing to advocate for neighbors in the housing referral process.
