Job summary

Hyatt Place San Jose is seeking a part-time Houseperson to support guest services and housekeeping operations in San Jose, CA. You will respond promptly to requests from guests and other departments, identify maintenance issues, and help keep guestrooms and public areas clean and orderly.

Key tasks include restocking linen, maintaining housekeeping carts, removing trash, patrolling floors, collecting and refilling linen stocks, and supporting a safe, comfortable guest experience.

Responsibilities

• Receives linen supplies from floor shoots.
• Maintains housekeeping carts.
• Removes trash collected by room attendants.
• Walk all assigned floors at beginning and end of shift to collect Newspaper bags, newspapers, trash, soiled linen.
• Pickup clean linen and refill the par stock of linen on each floor pantry.

Job description

Houseperson | Hyatt Place - San Jose, CA

Pay: $19–$20 per hour

As Houseperson (Part time), you respond promptly to requests from guests and other departments. Identify and report preventative or other maintenance issues in public areas or guest rooms. Performs any combination of the following tasks to maintain guestrooms, working areas, and the hotel premises in general in a clean and orderly manner.

• Receives linen supplies from floor shoots.
• Maintains housekeeping carts.
• Removes trash collected by room attendants.
• Walk all assigned floors at beginning and end of shift to collect Newspaper bags, newspapers, trash, soiled linen.
• Pickup clean linen and refill the par stock of linen on each floor pantry.
