Brittain Resorts & Hotels’ The Long Bay Resort in Florida is seeking a Houseperson to deliver top-tier guest care, maintain public areas, and support the housekeeping team. You’ll help keep spaces clean, handle requests, and contribute to a welcoming atmosphere for guests.

Flexibility to work weekends and shifts from 8:00–16:00 or 9:00–17:00, plus a valid driver’s license for cargo-van runs. The role emphasizes physical work and customer service excellence in a resort setting.

Qualifications

• Weekend availability and availability to work 8:00 AM-4:00 PM and/or 9:00 AM-5:00 PM.
• Valid driver's license required; must be comfortable driving a cargo van between business locations.
• English language skills.

Responsibilities

• Support Housekeeping Room Attendants by delivering additional supplies, removing trash and linens, moving furniture, running calls and assisting with heavy cleaning tasks as required.
• Clean and maintain all public areas of the hotel, including hallways, stairwells, windows, lobbies, elevators, and other communal spaces.
• Clean guest rooms as needed.
• Keeps linen stocked and organized on carts and shelves & delivers per guest requests to proper rooms.
• Reports all lost and found items in compliance to company policy.
• Assists hotel guests with questions or concerns.
• Other duties as assigned.

What will you be doing?

As a Houseperson, you'll engage with guests daily, delivering top-notch care through prompt, courteous service. Your role extends to maintaining the cleanliness of public areas, supporting fellow housekeeping team members, and ensuring a welcoming environment for our guests.

Qualifications

What are we looking for?

• Comfortable working both indoors and outdoors in various weather conditions
• Ability to regularly lift 50 pounds or more and perform physically demanding tasks, including bending and standing for extended periods
• Previous Houseperson experience preferred
