Job summary

The Long Bay Resort is seeking a Housekeeping Room Attendant to ensure the cleanliness of guest rooms and deliver unmatched service excellence to our guests. You will clean rooms and common areas, restock amenities, review arrivals/departures for supplies, report maintenance issues, and work with other housekeeping staff to maintain standards and speed.

Weekend availability is expected, and benefits include medical and dental insurance, paid time off, a 401(k) with company match, tuition

Qualifications

• Must be able to work varying schedules to reflect business needs, including weekends and holidays.
• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks (lifting, bending, standing for extended periods) indoors and outdoors.

• Must be able to communicate clearly and professionally with guests, coworkers and supervisors.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the cleanliness of guest rooms in accordance with the Department of Health and company standards.
• Review daily assigned inventory of arrivals and departures; obtain supplies to complete housekeeping assignments.
• Clean the resort guest rooms/condos including dusting, vacuuming, changing bed linens, cleaning bathrooms, kitchen area, and common areas.
• Ensure all amenities and supplies are replenished in each room.
• Report any maintenance issues, damage, or malfunctioning equipment in rooms to the maintenance department for prompt resolution.
• Perform quality cleaning to meet required standards within set time limits.
• Properly submit all lost and found articles left in guestrooms.
• Work collaboratively with other housekeeping staff and departments to ensure efficient operations.
• Provide prompt and courteous service to others.
• Other duties as assigned.
