Job summary

Brittain Resorts & Hotels seeks a Housekeeping Room Attendant to ensure the highest standard of cleanliness for guest rooms at The Long Bay Resort in Myrtle Beach, SC. You will maintain pristine rooms, restock amenities, and collaborate with teammates to deliver exceptional guest experiences.

Role requires physical stamina, weekend availability, and a dedication to service. We offer weekly pay and a range of benefits to qualified team members.

Qualifications

• Teamwork and collaboration are essential to coordinate with housekeeping and other departments.
• Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with guests, coworkers and supervisors.
• Must be able to perform physically demanding tasks such as lifting, bending and standing for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the cleanliness of guest rooms in accordance with health and company standards.
• Review arrivals/departures and obtain supplies to complete housekeeping assignments.
• Clean rooms including dusting, vacuuming, bed linens, bathrooms, kitchen area and common areas.
• Replenish amenities and supplies in each room.
• Report maintenance issues to the maintenance department for prompt resolution.
• Perform quality cleaning within set time limits.
• Submit lost and found items.
• Collaborate with other housekeeping staff and departments.
• Provide prompt and courteous service to guests and team members.
• Other duties as assigned.

Overview

As a Housekeeping Room Attendant, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness of each guest room to deliver unmatched service excellence to our guests.

Responsibilities

Housekeeping Room Attendant responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Ensure the cleanliness of guest rooms in accordance with the Department of Health and company standards
• Review daily assigned inventory of arrivals and departures; obtain supplies to complete housekeeping assignments
• Clean the resort guest rooms/condos including, but not limited to: dusting, vacuuming, changing bed linens, cleaning bathrooms, kitchen area, and common areas
• Ensure all amenities and supplies are replenished in each room
• Report any maintenance issues, damage, or malfunctioning equipment in rooms to the maintenance department for prompt resolution
• Perform quality cleaning to meet required standards within set time limits
• Properly submit all lost and found articles left in guestrooms
• Work collaboratively with other housekeeping staff and departments to ensure efficient operations
• Provide prompt and courteous service to others
• Other duties as assigned
