Job summary

Peachtree Group in Rockwall, TX is seeking a diligent Houseperson to respond promptly to guest requests and assist housekeeping and other departments. You will identify and report maintenance issues in public areas or guest rooms and help keep guestrooms and working areas clean and orderly.

You will walk assigned floors, collect newspapers, trash, and linen, maintain housekeeping carts, and ensure par stock on each floor pantry.

• Walk assigned floors at shift start and end to collect newspapers, bags, trash, and soiled linen.
• Pickup clean linen and refill the par stock of linen on each floor pantry.

Job description

As Houseperson, you respond promptly to requests from guests and other departments. Identify and report preventative or other maintenance issues in public areas or guest rooms. Performs any combination of the following tasks to maintain guestrooms, working areas, and the hotel premises in general in a clean and orderly manner.

• Receives linen supplies from floor shoots.
• Maintains housekeeping carts.
• Removes trash collected by room attendants.
• Walk all assigned floors at beginning and end of shift to collect Newspaper bags, newspapers, trash, soiled linen.
• Pickup clean linen and refill the par stock of linen on each floor pantry.
