Job summary

Peachtree Group in the hospitality sector seeks a Houseperson to respond promptly to guest requests and to identify and report maintenance issues in public areas or guest rooms. You will perform tasks to maintain guestrooms and corridors in a clean, orderly condition.

Responsibilities include receiving linen supplies, maintaining carts, removing trash, patrolling floors to collect newspapers and soiled linen, and refilling linen stocks on each floor pantry. Benefits are provided.

• Walk all assigned floors at beginning and end of shift to collect Newspaper bags, newspapers, trash, soiled linen.
• Pickup clean linen and refill the par stock of linen on each floor pantry.

Job description

As Houseperson, you respond promptly to requests from guests and other departments. Identify and report preventative or other maintenance issues in public areas or guest rooms. Performs any combination of the following tasks to maintain guestrooms, working areas, and the hotel premises in general in a clean and orderly manner.

• Receives linen supplies from floor shoots.
• Maintains housekeeping carts.
• Removes trash collected by room attendants.
• Walk all assigned floors at beginning and end of shift to collect Newspaper bags, newspapers, trash, soiled linen.
• Pickup clean linen and refill the par stock of linen on each floor pantry.
