Job summary

Hampton-By-Hilto in Revere, MA is seeking a dependable Houseperson to maintain the cleanliness and appearance of our hotel and assist in delivering an exceptional guest experience. You will work on guest floors, restrooms, and public areas, supporting a friendly TEAM environment.

We offer hands-on training, opportunities for growth through our internal development program, and a range of TEAM benefits. Pay starts at $16.50 per hour with flexible scheduling.

Qualifications

• Previous hotel experience preferred, but training offered.
• Strong English communication skills, reading, writing and speaking.
• Ability to lift and carry items and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness of guest floors, hallways, restrooms and public areas.
• Vacuum carpets, dust surfaces, mop floors, and polish surfaces.
• Collect trash and remove soiled linens from guest areas.
• Stock closets with clean towels and supplies and deliver items to rooms.
• Assist room attendants and report maintenance concerns to supervisors.
• Respond to guests and colleagues in a friendly, professional manner.
• Follow cleanliness, safety, and appearance standards.

Pay: $16.50 per hour

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness throughout guest floors, hallways, restrooms, and public areas.
• Vacuum carpets, clean upholstery, dust surfaces, and sweep, mop, and polish floors.
• Collect and remove trash and soiled linens from guest floors and service areas.
• Stock housekeeping closets and carts with clean linens, towels, and supplies.
• Deliver towels, cribs, cots, and other requested items to guest rooms.
• Assist Room Attendants with cleaning and other housekeeping duties as needed.
• Report lost and found items, maintenance concerns, and damaged property to supervisors.
• Respond to guests and colleagues in a friendly, helpful, and professional manner.
• Follow hotel cleanliness, safety, uniform, and appearance standards.
• Complete additional duties as assigned by supervisors.

Requirements

• Previous hotel or similar experience preferred, but we're willing to train the right person!
• Previous brand experience is a plus.
• Flexible availability for evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs and stand or walk for extended periods.
• Strong English communication skills, including reading, writing, and speaking.
• Spanish-speaking or bilingual candidates are a plus.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a TEAM.
