Job summary

Prominence Hospitality is seeking a friendly Houseperson to join the Courtyard by Marriott Peoria team in Peoria, IL. You will help maintain clean public areas, assist the housekeeping team, and support guest comfort with a positive attitude.

You’ll contribute to a welcoming environment by restocking supplies, responding quickly to guest requests, and upholding safety and sanitation standards. Prior janitorial experience is preferred, and a collaborative spirit is valued.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all public spaces are clean, welcoming, and well-maintained (lobbies, hallways, restrooms, elevators, exterior areas).

• Support housekeeping by assisting with linens, trash collection, and occasional guest room tasks.
• Maintain cleanliness standards and follow safety and sanitation protocols.
• Be a team player as we work hard and have fun together.

What You’ll Do as Houseperson

• Ensure all public spaces are consistently clean, welcoming, and well-maintained—including lobbies, hallways, restrooms, elevators, and exterior areas
• Respond to guest requests quickly and with a positive attitude to support an exceptional guest experience
• Support the housekeeping and operations team by assisting with linens, trash collection, and occasional guest room support
• Maintain cleanliness standards and follow safety guidelines and sanitation protocols
• Be a team player as we work hard and have fun together!

What You’ll Bring

• 1+ year of prior Janitor or Janitorial experience preferred.
• A positive, friendly, and energetic personality
