Job summary

Aloft Hotel Miami Aventura is seeking a Houseperson to respond promptly to guest and department requests, identify and report maintenance issues in public areas or guest rooms, and perform tasks to keep guestrooms, working areas, and the hotel premises clean and orderly.

Daily duties include receiving linen supplies, removing trash from room attendants’ areas, patrolling assigned floors at shift start and end to collect newspapers, trash, soiled linen, and replenishing clean linen in floor

• Identify and report preventative or other maintenance issues in public areas or guest rooms.
• Perform any combination of tasks to maintain guestrooms, working areas, and the hotel premises in a clean and orderly manner.
• Receive linen supplies from floor shoots.
• Remove trash collected by room attendants.
• Walk all assigned floors at beginning and end of shift to collect newspaper bags, newspapers, trash, and soiled linen.
• Pickup clean linen and refill the par stock of linen on each floor pantry.

Job description
