Job summary

Homewood Suites Prattville is seeking a Houseperson to help maintain cleanliness and support guest comfort on daily shifts. You will respond promptly to guest and department requests, and identify and report maintenance issues in public areas or guest rooms.

In this role you will manage linen and trash duties, walk floors to collect items, and ensure par stocks are replenished in floor pantries, all while contributing to a safe, welcoming hotel environment.

• Maintain guestrooms, working areas, and hotel premises in clean and orderly condition.
• Receive linen supplies from floor shoots.
• Remove trash collected by room attendants.
• Walk assigned floors at start and end of shift to collect newspaper bags, newspapers, trash, soiled linen.
• Pickup clean linen and refill the par stock of linen on each floor pantry.

As Houseperson, you respond promptly to requests from guests and other departments. Identify and report preventative or other maintenance issues in public areas or guest rooms. Performs any combination of the following tasks to maintain guestrooms, working areas, and the hotel premises in general in a clean and orderly manner.

• Receives linen supplies from floor shoots.
• Removes trash collected by room attendants.
• Walk all assigned floors at beginning and end of shift to collect Newspaper bags, newspapers, trash, soiled linen.
• Pickup clean linen and refill the par stock of linen on each floor pantry.
