Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and hard‑working Houseman to join our team at the Westin Casuarina Resort and Spa. In this role you will support room attendants and ensure guest calls are answered promptly, contributing to an exceptional service experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist room attendants with maintaining cleanliness and upkeep of guest rooms and public areas.
• Respond promptly and courteously to guest requests and calls.
• Handle laundry tasks, including proper use of laundry chemicals and understanding their effects on various types of linen.
• Prioritize and organize workload efficiently.
• Perform physically demanding tasks such as lifting, bending, stooping, pushing, pulling heavy loads, and standing for extended periods.
• Lifting bundles of linen weighing up to 75 lbs and pushing/pulling wheeled carts weighing up to 200 lbs.

Qualifications

• Basic ability to comprehend and communicate in English to understand safety labels, instructions, and guest requests.
• Working knowledge of laundry chemicals and their application is preferred.
• Combination of education and experience that demonstrates the ability to perform essential job functions.
• High School diploma preferred but not required.
• Experience with laundry is a plus but not mandatory.
• No licenses or certificates required.
• All employees must maintain a neat, clean, and well‑groomed appearance (specific standards provided).

Compensation

CI$8.75 – CI$8.75 per hour.
