Holiday Inn Express - Wilmington Medical District is seeking a dedicated Houseman to help maintain clean and welcoming spaces for guests. You will support housekeeping and interact with guests in a friendly, professional manner, contributing to a high standard of cleanliness throughout the property.

The role emphasizes teamwork, reliability, and the ability to handle a variety of tasks during shifts, with opportunities to grow within a busy hotel environment.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Strong attention to detail and reliability.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to lift, move, and carry supplies or equipment as needed.
• Flexible and able to handle a variety of tasks throughout the shift.
• Previous hotel or cleaning experience is a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain public areas, including lobbies, hallways, elevators, and restrooms.
• Keep common areas clean, organized, and stocked with supplies.
• Assist guests with requests in a friendly and professional manner.
• Support the housekeeping team with restocking, moving items, and special projects.
• Report maintenance or safety concerns to the appropriate department.
• Assist with minor maintenance tasks as needed.
• Follow hotel safety and cleanliness standards.
• Work closely with other hotel departments to ensure guest satisfaction.
