Job summary

Salamander Middleburg in Middleburg, Virginia, seeks a detail-oriented Turndown Attendant to prepare guest rooms for evening service, delivering Forbes Five-Star standards of cleanliness, comfort, and presentation.

You will refresh bedrooms and bathrooms, inspect rooms, stock carts, and respond to guest requests, contributing to a welcoming environment and a luxurious guest experience.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous housekeeping, room attendant, turndown attendant, hotel, hospitality, or cleaning experience preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication and guest service skills.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, kneel, and perform physical tasks throughout the shift.
• Must be able to lift and move up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.

Responsibilities

• Perform evening turndown service in guest rooms according to Forbes Five-Star standards.
• Refresh and reset guest bedrooms and bathrooms to ensure a clean, comfortable, and inviting environment.
• Conduct self-inspections to ensure all guest rooms meet established quality standards.
• Organize and stock housekeeping carts, supply rooms, and linen closets.
• Complete daily assignments and required documentation accurately and efficiently.
• Report maintenance concerns, damages, and room discrepancies to Housekeeping leadership.
• Respond promptly to guest requests and special service needs.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of assigned work areas.
• Assist with special cleaning projects and support other housekeeping team members as needed.
• Follow all safety, sanitation, and housekeeping procedures.
