Job summary

Salamander Middleburg is seeking a Full-Time Houseperson to support our 5 Star Housekeeping team. You will assist room attendants and help maintain the hotel's pristine conditions throughout guest areas.

Qualifications

• Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting up to 25 pounds.

Responsibilities

• General cleaning using standard hotel products to meet health standards.
• Stock linen closets to meet minimum par levels.
• Remove trash and dirty linen from carts and rooms.
• Maintain cleanliness by moving items to designated pickup points.
• Replace vacuum bags and restock linen carts as needed.
• Track consumption and order replacements for supplies.
• Move furniture and equipment as directed by supervisor.
• Handle special guest requests and spill incidents.

Salamander Middleburg is looking for Full-Time Housepersons for our 5 Star Housekeeping department.

The Houseperson will support and service the room attendants and maintain cleanliness throughout the hotel.

Key Responsibilities:

• General Cleaning: Perform cleaning tasks using standard hotel products to adhere to health standards.
• Stocking: Maintain linen closets to meet minimum par levels.
• Waste Management: Remove trash and dirty linen from cleaning carts and linen rooms.
• Cleanliness Maintenance: Monitor and clean trash from rooms as needed, moving items to designated pickup points.
• Supply Management: Replace vacuum bags and assist in restocking linen carts.
• Inventory Monitoring: Track consumption and order replacements for guest and cleaning supplies.
• Furniture Movement: Move furniture, supplies, and equipment as directed by the housekeeping supervisor.
• Special Requests: Handle unexpected spills and execute special guest requests as needed.

Qualifications:

Education/Experience:

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
