Sanford Health’s Good Samaritan – Woodland facility in Brainerd, MN is hiring an Environmental Services Technician. You’ll maintain a clean, safe environment in patient areas, follow infection control guidelines and support facility operations on a 64-hour bi-weekly schedule with day shifts.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, prior cleaning experience, and strong customer service and communication skills. A sign-on bonus may apply based on eligibility.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Minimum of six months housekeeping or commercial cleaning experience preferred.
• Ability to use a computer and prior cleaning experience is helpful.
• Knowledge of materials, equipment, cleaning methods and cleaning chemicals is helpful.
• Strong customer service, communication and interpersonal skills are required.
• Previous custodial experience in a healthcare environment is preferred.

Responsabilités

• Empty waste baskets, sweep floors and perform basic cleaning tasks.
• Scrub, wax or polish floors using brooms, mops or powered machines.
• Maintain a safe and sanitary environment in patient/resident areas following infection control guidelines.
