Job summary

Sanford Health is seeking an Environmental Services Technician to maintain a clean and safe hospital environment, following infection control and safety guidelines. You will work an evening shift (4:30 pm–1:00 am) across patient areas, handling waste, floors, and general cleaning tasks.

The role offers $15.00–$22.50 per hour with a $2,500 sign-on bonus paid over the first year. Prior housekeeping experience and strong teamwork are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Minimum six months housekeeping or commercial cleaning experience preferred.
• Ability to use computer and prior cleaning experience is helpful.
• Knowledge of materials, equipment, cleaning methods and cleaning chemicals is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe and sanitary environment in patient/resident rooms and assigned areas.
• Perform cleaning tasks including emptying waste, sweeping, scrubbing, and floor care.
• Use cleaning equipment and supplies following infection control guidelines.
• Support various locations as needed and comply with safety protocols.
