Job summary

You will clean patient/resident rooms, hallways, restrooms and related areas, operate cleaning equipment, and assist in laundry as needed. The role may require overtime, call, backup call, nights, weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• Strong customer service, communication and interpersonal skills are required.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Six months housekeeping or commercial cleaning experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Empty waste baskets, sweep, scrub, wax, or polish floors.
• Transport and use cleaning equipment and supplies as needed for patient/resident areas.
• Follow infection control, safety and procedural guidelines to maintain a clean environment.
• Clean patient/resident rooms, hallways, restrooms and other work areas to meet health standards.
• Assist in laundry areas as appropriate.
• Wear protective equipment and keep storage areas tidy.
