MaineGeneral Medical Center in Augusta, ME is seeking a hospital environmental services worker responsible for cleaning patient rooms and surrounding areas to maintain a sanitary, safe environment. The role includes handling waste, linens, isolation procedures, stocking supplies, transporting items as needed, and keeping equipment clean.

Creates a sanitary, safe environment and enhances the appearance of the facility.
Cleans patient rooms and other assigned areas daily, including collecting and removing trash/laundry/sharps, changing bed linens sanitizing all surfaces and laundering patient personal clothing, as needed. Follows policies and procedures on patient isolation. Stocks paper items and other supplies in patient rooms as necessary or designated. Transports furniture and equipment to and from locations, as needed. Maintains cart and equipment in clean, working condition and stores in appropriate storage area when finished with shift. Some employees in this job may operate a motor vehicle to conduct MaineGeneral Health business.
$17.34 - $30.35 The hourly pay range shown represents the base pay range for this position. Individual pay is determined based on factors such as experience, qualifications, skills, and market considerations. In addition to base pay, eligible team members may earn additional compensation through shift, weekend, holiday, on-call, and other applicable differentials.
