Job summary

MaineGeneral Medical Center in Augusta, ME is seeking an Instrument Sterilization Technician to receive, inspect, sterilize, and distribute medical instruments and equipment in daily operations.

You will document high-level disinfection, monitor processes, and collaborate with interdepartmental teams to meet industry standards and manufacturer instructions. The role includes manual cleaning and use of reprocessors as needed.

• Collaborates with interdepartmental teams to identify instrumentation needs.
• Locates, compiles, and distributes requested instrumentation appropriately.

Compensation Information

$19.76 - $34.57. The hourly pay range shown represents the base pay range for this position. Individual pay is determined based on factors such as experience, qualifications, skills, and market considerations. In addition to base pay, eligible team members may earn additional compensation through shift, weekend, holiday, on-call, and other applicable differentials.
