Canopy by Hilton New Orleans Downtown is seeking a dependable Housekeeping Support Attendant/Houseperson to assist Room Attendants and maintain supplies for a guest-ready experience. Your keen eye for detail and willingness to help will be essential to keep the hotel running smoothly and delivering exceptional guest experiences.

Role emphasizes teamwork, adherence to cleanliness standards, and opportunities for career growth within a management development program.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience in a Hilton-branded hotel or hotel environment.
• Reliable, dependable, and able to work well in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent guest service and communication skills.
• Must be available to work 7:00 AM–3:00 PM, weekends and holidays.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Support Room Attendants with daily housekeeping operations and guest room needs.
• Deliver clean linen, towels, cribs, cots, and other items to guest rooms.
• Receive, organize, and distribute linen supplies throughout the hotel.
• Restock floor pantries and Room Attendant closets with clean linen and supplies.
• Maintain and organize housekeeping carts and equipment.
• Assist with cleaning and maintaining hotel public areas.
• Respond to guest requests in a friendly, professional, and timely manner.

• Support Room Attendants with daily housekeeping operations and guest room needs.
• Deliver clean linen, towels, cribs, cots, and other requested items to guest rooms.
• Receive, organize, and distribute linen supplies throughout the hotel.
• Restock floor pantries and Room Attendant closets with clean linen and supplies.
• Maintain and organize housekeeping carts and equipment.
• Sort and organize soiled and clean linen according to hotel procedures.
• Vacuum rugs, carpets, and upholstered furniture as needed.
• Assist with cleaning and maintaining hotel public areas.
• Assist Room Attendants with guest room cleaning when necessary.
• Ensure housekeeping areas, supply rooms, and equipment are clean and organized.
• Respond to guest requests in a friendly, professional, and timely manner.
• Complete additional housekeeping tasks as assigned by supervisors.
• Follow all hotel, housekeeping, safety, and cleanliness standards.
• Work effectively both independently and as part of the TEAM.

Requirements

• 1+ year of experience in a Hilton-branded hotel or hotel environment required.
• Previous Hilton brand experience preferred.
• Reliable, dependable, and able to work well in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and pride in maintaining a clean and organized hotel.
• Excellent guest service and communication skills.
• Must be available to work a7:00 AM–3:00 PM schedule.
• Must be available to workweekends and holidays.
• Ability to lift and carry up to50 pounds.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, and move for extended periods.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a TEAM.
• English communication skills required; must be able to read, write, and speak English.
• Bilingual English/Spanish skills are a plus.
