Job summary

Hilton Garden Inn New Orleans French Quarter/CBD is seeking organized, self-motivated Housekeepers to join our TEAM. You will clean guest rooms, maintain impeccable cleanliness, and contribute to a memorable guest experience.

We offer full-time benefits, a flexible schedule including weekends, and opportunities for advancement through our Management Development Program. Bilingual English/Spanish a plus; prior hotel experience preferred but training provided.

Qualifications

• Prior hotel housekeeping experience preferred.
• Must be able to read and follow instructions in English.

Responsibilities

• Clean and arrange guest rooms to ensure high cleanliness standards.
• Wash dirty bedding, clothing, and linen.
• Stock and maintain inventory of housekeeping supplies.
• Dust furniture or fixtures and polish them.
• Scrub and sanitize showers, bathtubs, toilets, countertops, and sinks.
• Vacuum and clean carpets, doormats, and rugs.
• Report breakages, damages, and safety issues for repairs.

Requirements:

• Prior experience in a hotel setting or in a similar role is ideal, but willing to train the right person. We are dedicated to thoroughly training & developing our team into hotel leaders through interactive teamwork in a positive work environment!
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule including weekends, evenings, and holidays
• Able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
• Able to stand and walk for extended periods
• Ability to lift, push or pull heavy equipment, and stand, walk, bend, stoop, kneel for extended periods of time with or without reasonable accommodation
• Excellent English communication skills and able to read, write and speak fluently
• Bi-lingual (English and Spanish speaking) is a plus
