Sherman Associates seeks a detail‑oriented Housekeeping Supervisor for the Sheraton Duluth Hotel. The role oversees daily operations of guestrooms, public spaces, and outdoor areas, ensuring the property remains clean, safe, and welcoming for guests.

Ideal candidates have a High School education, up to 2 years of experience, and strong leadership skills. Schedule starts at 8:30 AM; pay ranges $19–$20 per hour. This is a full‑time, non‑exempt position with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• High School or equivalent education required.
• Minimum of 2 years housekeeping experience with at least 6 months in housekeeping management at a supervisory or manager level.
• Reading and writing abilities required to document tasks, order supplies, and read instructions.
• Must be able to communicate effectively in a multi-lingual workplace environment.
• Must maintain a neat, clean, and well-groomed appearance.
• Schedule may vary due to hotel needs and health/safety compliance requirements.

Responsibilities

• Partners with the Housekeeping Manager to recruit, develop, manage and monitor performance and disciplinary actions as needed.
• Monitors laundry supplies and equipment to ensure availability and operability.
• Assists with training of employees and ensuring tools and equipment are available for duties.
• Assists with scheduling and room cleaning assignments for proper coverage.
• May perform housekeeping duties including cleaning guest rooms and public areas to meet guest expectations.
• Inspects rooms and public areas to ensure cleanliness and repair quality.
