Job summary

Schulte Hospitality Group is seeking a dynamic, service-oriented Housekeeping Supervisor to join our team at an on-site location. The role focuses on leading housekeeping staff, ensuring rooms and public areas meet quality standards, and maintaining safety and efficiency across shifts.

Responsibilities include training staff, inspecting suites, managing supplies, and coordinating with management to address maintenance needs.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years in a leadership housekeeping position.
• Minimum of high school education; post-high school education preferred.
• Basic computer skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
• Ability to exceed expectations of guests and team members.
• Excellent time-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Inspect all assigned suites and public areas to ensure furnishings, equipment, linens, etc. are clean and in good repair.
• Ensure that all associates have proper supplies, equipment and uniform including nametag, gloves and goggles.
• Train associates on safety standards and enforce those standards consistently. Identify associates engaging in unsafe behaviors and retrain them appropriately. Complete accident investigations and take steps to prevent future accidents.
• Perform all housekeeping duties necessary, including making beds, vacuuming and cleaning.
• Verify and update status of discrepant rooms throughout the shift.
• Randomly select assigned rooms to ensure cleanliness.
• Perform opening and closing shift duties.
• Notify GM and/or chief engineer of maintenance repairs necessary.
• Monitor cleanliness of hotel including parking lot and exterior entrances.
• Act as manager on duty when required.
• Available to work nights, weekends, and holidays as necessary.
• Perform various other duties as assigned to meet business objectives.
