What You Bring to the Table:

Essential Qualifications:

Responsible for the overall management and operation of housekeeping/laundry department including budget control, staffing, cleaning, sanitation, equipment maintenance and operation

Ensures the nursing facility is clean and in a sanitary condition to provide for the welfare and care of the residents in a healthful environment.

Requirements

The Ideal Candidate:

• Prior work experience in environmental services is preferred
• Ability to lead a team, including hiring and training staff.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Provide patience and compassion when working with residents and family members.
• Ability to communicate effectively with residents, family members and team members.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Staying current on the individual procedures and protocols for their facilities, including state-specified rules and regulations.
• A desire and commitment to working with the elderly.
• Has not been excluded from participating in Medicare and Medicaid programs.
