CommCare Corporation in Covington, LA is seeking a Housekeeping Staff member for St Anthony's Gardens Assisted Living. You will maintain resident areas, clean and sanitize spaces, and work with the team to support safe, comfortable living for residents.

Responsibilities

• Dust vents, handrails, ceilings, baseboards, furniture and blinds.
• Vacuum, spot clean and shampoo carpets and furniture as needed.
• Sweep and mop floors and keep bathrooms clean and stocked.
• Sanitize bathrooms and ensure soap and paper goods are stocked.
• Remove marks from walls and empty resident trash in apartments and common areas.
• Follow infection control policies and document services per policy.
• Report hazards to the Director of Maintenance/Housekeeping.
• Collaborate with team to ensure resident safety and satisfaction.
• Maintain professional demeanor and appearance while interacting with residents.

We’re seeking the right candidate for the position of Housekeeping Staff at St Anthony's Gardens Assisted Living. In this vital role, you’ll ensure that our residents receive the highest level of care while collaborating with a dedicated team, providing exceptional clinical leadership and support.

What You Bring to the Table:

Essential Qualifications:

• Dust wall vents, handrails, ceiling fans, baseboards, furniture and blinds.
• Vacuum, spot clean and shampoo carpets and furniture as needed.
• Sweep and mop floors.
• Clean and sanitize bathrooms, ensuring that all paper goods and soap dispensers are stocked adequately.
• Check for and remove marks from walls.
• Empty trash cans in resident apartments/suites and common areas.
• Follow proper cleaning and infection control policies and procedures.
• Document provision of services in accordance with Company policy.
• Report any hazards, violations, or sanitation issues to the Director of Maintenance and Housekeeping.
• Work collaboratively with peers and other team members to ensure the safety and satisfaction of all residents.
• Maintain a professional demeanor and appearance at all times, particularly when interacting with residents and their families.
• Communicate with residents, family members and guests in a respectful, diplomatic manner. Collaborate with associates in other departments to ensure that resident needs are being met appropriately.

Requirements

The Ideal Candidate:

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Ability to read, write, speak and understand the English language.
• Possess an affinity for working with seniors.
• Professional and neat appearance and presentation, including adherence to the dress code and good personal hygiene.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work with people at all levels.
