Job summary

Tioga Community Care Center, part of CommCare Corporation, is seeking Environmental Services Housekeeping Staff in Pineville, LA. You will maintain clean living areas, launder linens, and support residents with a safe, pleasant environment. This role emphasizes infection control, attention to detail, and teamwork within a healthcare setting.

Competitive hourly pay and benefits are offered. All offers are contingent on a background check and eligibility for Medicare/Medicaid participation.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 6 months of relevant environmental services experience preferred.
• Knowledge of cleaning devices and washer/dryer equipment.

Responsibilities

• Handle, wash/dry and fold resident laundry and linens and return promptly to owner.
• Ensures that resident personal clothing is identified and labeled properly.
• Cleans and disinfects dirty lavatories, beds, chairs and equipment.
• Sweeps and mops resident rooms; cleans all rooms as assigned.

Requirements

• Handle, wash/dry and fold resident laundry and linens & return to promptly to owner.
• Ensures that resident personal clothing is properly identified and labeled properly.
• Cleans and disinfects dirty lavatories, beds, chairs, and equipment.
• Sweeps and mops resident rooms; cleans all rooms as assigned.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 6 months of previous experience in environmental services is preferred.
• Knowledge of and use of cleaning devices and washer/dryer equipment.

Other Qualifications

• Has not been excluded from participating in Medicare and Medicaid programs.
• Maintains eligibility to participate in Medicare and Medicaid programs throughout employment.
• Participate in pre-employment and annual Tuberculosis screening.
