Job summary

CommCare Corporation, a leader in retirement living, skilled nursing, and hospice care across Louisiana and Mississippi, invites applications for a Housekeeping Staff position at Ridgecrest Community Care Center. You will help maintain a clean, safe environment for our residents and work closely with a dedicated care team.

Responsibilities include cleaning rooms and common areas, following infection control policies, stocking supplies, and reporting hazards to management.

Qualifications

• Dust wall vents, handrails, ceiling fans, baseboards, furniture and blinds.
• Vacuum, spot clean and shampoo carpets and furniture as needed.
• Sweep and mop floors.
• Clean and sanitize bathrooms, ensuring that all paper goods and soap dispensers are stocked adequately.
• Check for and remove marks from walls.
• Empty trash cans in resident apartments/suites and common areas.
• Follow proper cleaning and infection control policies and procedures.
• Document provision of services in accordance with Company policy.
• Report any hazards, violations, or sanitation issues to the Director of Maintenance and Housekeeping.
• Work collaboratively with peers and other team members to ensure the safety and satisfaction of all residents.
• Maintain a professional demeanor and appearance at all times, particularly when interacting with residents and their families.
• Communicate with residents, family members and guests in a respectful, diplomatic manner. Collaborate with associates in other departments to ensure that resident needs are being met appropriately.
