Job summary

Generation Hospitality Group seeks a hands-on Housekeeping Supervisor to lead daily operations, train staff, and ensure a clean, safe environment for guests and staff. You will support the Housekeeping Manager, manage schedules, and step in as needed.

You will also participate in room cleaning, inspect areas for cleanliness and safety, and enforce company policies and standards while coordinating with other departments on daily operations.

Qualifications

• Experience in a hotel, resort, or similar environment.
• Proven supervisory or team lead background.
• Ability to train, mentor, and motivate staff to meet quality standards.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work weekends and flexible hours.
• Physically capable of standing, lifting, and cleaning tasks.
• Clear English communication, both written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily housekeeping operations and maintain cleanliness to standards.
• Train, coach, and develop housekeeping staff on procedures and safety.
• Create, adjust, and communicate staff schedules including weekend coverage.
• Act as person in charge when the Housekeeping Manager is away.
• Assist with cleaning guest rooms and public areas as needed.
• Inspect rooms and public areas for cleanliness and safety, report issues.
• Organize supplies, storage, and carts for efficiency and safety.
• Monitor inventory of linens and amenities; notify replenishment needs.
• Handle guest housekeeping requests professionally and promptly.
• Ensure adherence to company policies and sanitation standards.
• Collaborate with other departments on operations and projects.
• Assist onboarding and ongoing training for new staff.
