Job summary

Excel Hotel Group is seeking a Housekeeping Supervisor to assist the General Manager in supervising housekeeping and laundry operations to meet quality standards and deliver exceptional guest service. The role covers scheduling, training, inspections, and addressing guest requests, with a focus on maintaining cleanliness and efficiency across rooms and public areas while following company policies.

Candidates should have 1–2 years of housekeeping experience and a track record in team leadership

Qualifications

• 1-2 housekeeping or janitorial experience required
• 1-year supervisory experience preferred
• Ability to stand and walk for 8 hours in a day; lift up to 50 lbs
• Follow verbal directions and complete tasks on schedule

Responsibilities

• Schedule room cleaning assignments to ensure proper coverage
• Train employees and ensure they have tools and equipment
• Monitor performance and address disciplinary actions as needed
• Inspect rooms, suites, and public areas for cleanliness and repairs
• Instruct on deficiencies and corrective actions
• Respond to guest complaints and requests to ensure satisfaction
• Notify management when supplies are low
