DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Chicago - North Shore Conference Center is seeking a Temporary Housekeeping Supervisor/Inspector to lead our housekeeping team, inspect guest rooms for cleanliness, and assist with cleaning as needed. This hands-on role focuses on delivering an exceptional guest experience in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of supervisory housekeeping experience, strong leadership and communication skills, and a keen eye for detail.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of housekeeping supervisory experience in a select-service hotel.
• Experience inspecting guest rooms and enforcing cleanliness standards.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational abilities.
• Willingness to assist with guest room cleaning as needed.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and support housekeeping staff to meet hotel standards.
• Inspect guest rooms and public areas for cleanliness and upkeep.
• Provide feedback and guidance to team members on quality standards.
• Assign daily tasks and prioritize room cleaning based on occupancy.
• Report maintenance and safety issues promptly.
• Ensure cleanliness of carts, supplies, and storage areas.
• Train team members on procedures, standards, and safety.
