Job summary

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service or similar role.
• Housekeeping supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare shift inspection reports noting status of all guest rooms, requests, out-of-order rooms, and show rooms.
• Inspect check-out rooms for cleanliness, amenities, and equipment.
• Report substandard conditions or damages to Housekeeping.
• Evaluate cleaners’ performance and retrain as needed to ensure quality.
• Notify Front Desk of vacant/clean rooms, completed requests, and discrepancies.
• Coordinate with Front Desk on room moves and late check-outs.
• Answer department phones with friendly etiquette.
• Assist guests with special requests and Lost & Found items.
• Check PMS for room status and update records.
• Log and secure Lost & Found items, keys, and cleaner assignments.
• Confirm next-day work schedule with cleaners.
• Prepare written reports of room statuses for Front Desk.
• File daily reports in the file cabinet.
