Job summary

Beauport Hotel Gloucester is seeking a Housekeeping Supervisor to lead the daily housekeeping operations, ensuring the highest cleanliness standards for guest rooms, public areas and the laundry facility.

You will coach and counsel staff, coordinate with Front Office and Maintenance, manage turnover days, and assist with training, scheduling and safety. This role requires at least two years in hospitality with leadership experience and a flexible schedule.

Qualifications

• Must have at least two years of hospitality experience with a leadership role.
• Experience in housekeeping, front desk or rooms operations is preferred.
• Ability to coach and counsel staff according to hotel standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily operation of the assigned shift to maintain high quality standards.
• Coach and counsel housekeeping and laundry personnel.
• Coordinate with Front Office and Maintenance to resolve issues before room occupancy.
• Manage large turn days and group check-ins/check-outs.
• Ensure laundry supplies and inventory are adequate.
• Train, schedule, and motivate staff; maintain safety procedures.
