Island Hospitality is seeking a hands-on Housekeeping Supervisor to lead a team in delivering clean, well-maintained guest rooms and public areas. You will model high standards, supervise daily operations, and collaborate with multiple departments to ensure guest satisfaction.

The role requires flexible scheduling and a strong focus on training, quality control, and preventative maintenance to uphold brand standards across our hotels.

• Effective in handling problems in the workplace including anticipating, preventing, identifying, and solving problems as necessary.
• Ability to work well in stressful situations.
• Readily available and approachable for all guests while providing excellent guest service.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic housekeeping duties including changing sheets, towels, restocking supplies, vacuuming, dusting, cleaning, and tidying rooms after guest checkout.
• Deliver linens to the laundry department.
• Inspect rooms and public spaces daily to ensure adherence to brand and standards.
• Train new housekeeping staff on service standards and guest service guarantee.
• Participate in preventative maintenance programs.
• Check stocking levels of consumables and replenish as needed.
• Notify supervisors of damages, deficits, or disturbances.
• Coordinate with maintenance regarding maintenance requests; coordinate with front desk on room readiness.
