Job summary

The Crescent Hotels Group in Bethesda, MD is seeking a housekeeping supervisor with at least one year of supervisory/inspector experience to lead a team across guest rooms, public areas and back-of-house spaces. You will train staff, ensure safety and cleanliness, and respond to guest needs with a professional demeanor.

Candidates must be able to communicate in English, lift up to 50 lbs, and work a flexible schedule including nights, holidays and weekends.

Qualifications

• Must have minimum of one year hotel housekeeping supervisory/inspector experience.
• Must be able to communicate in English.
• Self-starting personality with an even disposition.
• Physically capable of climbing, standing, walking and lifting 25–50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the housekeeping staff and provide training, coaching and feedback to maximize efficiency.
• Inspect cleaning of guest rooms, turndown service, public areas and back of house; ensure cleanliness and guest satisfaction.
• Assign staff tasks and manage workflow to ensure smooth housekeeping operations.
• Distribute supplies to staff at shift start and monitor inventory while controlling costs.
• Respond to guest requests or concerns to maintain high guest satisfaction; log items in Lost and Found and respond to inquiries.
• Implement emergency training and procedures to protect hotel guests, staff and assets.
• Maintain regular attendance and perform other related duties as assigned.
