Job summary

Bethesda Senior Living Communities is seeking a dedicated Housekeeper to maintain a welcoming and hygienic environment for residents, guests, and staff. You’ll follow community policies to clean apartments and common areas, restock supplies, and help prep spaces for meals.

We offer a comprehensive benefits package for full-time employees and a flexible schedule with some weekends/holidays required. Candidates should have a high school diploma or equivalent and a compassionate, servant‑hearted

Qualifications

• Must have interpersonal skills to communicate with residents, families, visitors, and staff.
• Knowledge of housekeeping procedures and practices.
• Able to read and understand directions on cleaning solutions and equipment.
• Compassion and genuine care for the elderly.
• Able to work independently and prioritize workload.

Responsibilities

• Cleans and sanitizes residents’ apartments and common areas.
• Replaces and restocks toilet tissue, paper towels and facial tissue.
• Deep cleans apartments and common areas as assigned.
• Shampoos carpets and furniture, washes windows and screens.
• Maintains equipment and supplies; reports safety concerns.
• Ensures adequate daily coverage for meal service and dining room prep.
