Job summary

Kimpton Hotels & Restaurants is seeking a Housekeeping Supervisor in Miami Beach to oversee cleanliness and the physical condition of guest rooms, meeting rooms, corridors, and public areas. You will maintain a positive attitude and act as the liaison between guests and cleaners.

Responsibilities include inspecting rooms, reporting issues, coordinating with Front Desk, and ensuring high standards of housekeeping operations. Flexibility for mornings, nights, holidays, and weekends is required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma preferred.
• 1 year of experience in customer service or similar role.
• Housekeeping supervisory or related job experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare inspection report with the status of all guest rooms at the beginning of the shift.
• Inspect all guest check-out rooms for cleanliness and proper amenities.
• Report any substandard conditions or damage to Housekeeping.
• Evaluate room cleaners on performance and take action when needed.
• Notify Front Desk of vacant/clean rooms and status discrepancies.
• Coordinate room moves and guest requests with Front Desk.
• Answer the department telephone with friendly etiquette.
• Assist guests with special requests and Lost & Found items.
• Check the PMS for room status and updates.
• Collect, log, and secure all Lost & Found items.
• Confirm the next day's work schedule with room cleaners.
• Complete written reports of all room statuses; file daily reports.
